The 2008 Nordic Starlight Trek will take place this coming Saturday, June 14 at 5-6pm.
The walk will begin at Beeston Lock and will pass through Nottingham Canal and the River Trent, where participants will be able to view the city’s breathtaking waterside scenery.
The event is open to all Nordic walkers, strollers, and walkers who are at least 18 years old. The registration fee is 10 pounds for each person. This will cover the expenses for organizational costs as well as donation to the Garden of Grace Project. All proceeds of the event will benefit the Garden of Grace project which aims to provide a drop-in center for self-help and healing after bereavement by suicide.
The 2008 Nordic Starlight Trek is presented by Midlands Nordic Walking, in collaboration with Nottingham and East Midlands Sharers of Bereavement by Suicide.
