First Aid for Nordic Walking & other Outdoor Activities

Safety is, and should always be, a top priority when engaged in any outdoor activity. The risks of getting injured are increased when doing your favorite outdoor sport, and in some cases, medical assistance may not be readily available. It is therefore necessary to know what to do should accidents or emergency situations arise. For safety considerations, make sure you have adequate knowledge when it comes to giving First Aid.

This section is in no way complete but will give you some of the basics of First Aid. Bear in mind that this is intended for informational purposes only and should not be considered as a substitute for a formal First Aid Training.
