hi all!
Can you share some techniques on nordic walking (especially on making use of the poles?)?

Always remember to do a warm up exercise before nordic walking, just the basic routines like rolling your neck and circling your shoulders. Also, when using the poles always relax your shoulders, don't get too tensed up.

I almost forgot you can also use the poles for warming up. As for me, I use it when I squat, I hold the pole with knuckles facing forward either on shoulders or behind the head, then take a big step forward. Using the same leg, push back to return to the original position then do it on the other leg.

Best tip I can give you is to warm up. Nordic walking requires coordination of all your physical functions. You wouldn't want to upset your body even before you reach the first kilometer. Just don't rush into things if you are new in this activity take it step by step.

Welcome Mr. Perfect :D
i suppose its a bad idea to do nordic walking on rocky surfaces, for me that is. The poles can yeah be used for warm up and for cool down as well :D
