Basically yes, but that is if you are fit enough to do it, if you can handle all the walking, the poles and stuff like that. ;-D

If you have bad arthritis then I guess you'll have a hard time nordic walking, be sure to check with your doctor first. listen to your body! that's an important thing to remember at all times, because we might be saying that yes it suits anyone but it's only you who will know what is your capacity.

If you know that you have a special condition like respiratory problems you should consult your doctor first. Nordic walking is suitable to all but of course you have to be very careful before you take the step. You don't want to aggravate any conditions you are in. But if you don't have any health problems then you can do it already! good luck!

Nordic Walking have a lot of good benefits for everyone but then I agree on what the other people suggested in this thread. If you have some ailments especially on your respiratory system, better check with your doctor first.

Well as long as your fit you can do Nordic walking, believe me, it's awesome! At first I was skeptical trying this nordic walking, but actually after I tried it, I really liked it! But, consult first your physician.

If you're up to it and if you think you have the strength to do this form of relaxation and exercise then you can really do it. Of course you first have to consider if there are any complications in your health that might be aggravated if you walk.

Yes but of course health considerations should be taken as a great factor. Know your body first, limitations and strengths. If you are not careful you might not get what you seek in the first place. you might just harm yourself. Check everything before you do this routine.

generally yes, but just to be careful certain health conditions should be first consulted to a doctor. Nordic walking needs a lot of physical strength and not all people have the same physical strength needed in this activity. To avoid negative result you must be sure that your body is capable of such activity before you actually delve in this.

it helps to be in tiptop shape but i think nordic walking is ok for anyone, as long as they don't have any heart condition.

I wont repeat what is obviously in agreement on this forum. I just would like to add that if indeed you have a not that severe problem i suppose you can still do nordic walking, you just have to slow down the pace. :D

i think this sport is not for everyone. some people born to have a abnormalities specially on there feet. and also people who has limited things to do.. like for example you have broke bone on your right/left foot... you have to consult professional first

Nordic walking is easy for those who are physically fit but that doesn't limit only to them. Even people who are a bit weak can do the walking but they just have to ask their physician first before going into it.
