If you can walk for only a few minutes, let it be your starting point. You can do it at a slower pace then eventually adjust and build up for about 30 min. twice a week, then if your well adjusted you can work your way to 5days a week, 30min each session.

I alway make it a point to walk a mile. I guess I already got used to this and it has been in my system ever since I started nordic walking. If I don't complete a mile I feel like I was not rejuvenated. If you are just starting maybe you should try to walk a few km first and then add another so on and so forth until you get use to it.

I walk 3 to 4 kilometers. I know it sounds boring or too tiring, but to entertain myself or to divert my attention I always bring my iPod and listen to music while doing my nordic walk.

4 to 5 kilometers, but of course this might be different among people. Actually it all depends upon the capacity of your body. If you want to do this because you need to burn fats then you should walk a little bit further but if you do this just for fun and to keep slim then 2 to4 km. will do.

yep I make it a point to walk 4 to 5 km. But if you are new I think 1 to 2 km will be fine. Then you have to gradually increase your track. You should do this so that you can prepare your body first before doing the more strenous task.

For starters 1 to 2 Km will be just fine. If you got used to the routine then you can escalate the number of km. little by little. I have been walking for a year now and usually I walk for 5 to 6 Km 3x a week. I can say that I am used to walking long miles already.

i usually walk 4-5 kilometers - i find that nordic walking has increased my overall strength and endurance and has also helped me shed a few pounds.
