aside from the fact that it's absolutely safe, nordic walking is a total body work out 'coz it makes use of 90% of your muscles. Yes logan, it is good for weight loss and toning your muscles as well. I suggest you try it with a friend, it's fun i'm telling ya!

compared to regular walking, nordic walking involves most
of the muscles in your body which allows you to get more overall exercise!

A total work out but simple and easy workout. That's how I can describe this type of walking. It might be simple but trust me it burns calories faster esp when you regularly do it. On the side you can also see nature whenever you do your walks so it is relaxing. You should really try it.

Nordic walking is a total work out! It also helps you develop a good cardio vascular performance. If you are after being fit or slim this suits you and if you are after entertainment and fun this is also for you. All in one!

Totally agree with you rd8. Nordic walking combines all work out from your legs to your arms. Thus it doubles your body's capacity to loose extra fats by using every calories to convert into energy. It is also useful when your goal is to increase your arms endurance and strength.

It can give you everything! whatever purpose you have in mind nordic walking can give it to you. You need to loose extra fats? You need to work out your upper arm? you need to relax? You need to improve your respiration process? It can bring you just about anything so don't hesitate to ry it. Might be hard on your first try but it will gradually be easier as you get used to the activity.
