Kaki! Well I'm using New Balance's walking shoes, it really depends on what kind of terrain but I guess walking shoes will do just make sure that it fits you well and most important thing you should feel comfortable wearing those shoes.

if you're going to walk on rugged or tough trails then you must choose some lightweight hiking shoes. When buying for shoes pick something that doesn't poke your feet, and one tip I can give you, wear the same socks you wear when walking!

hey Kaki, do you mind if I ask where did you buy your nordic walking shoes? I'm new here and sort of interested in pursuing this workout routine (if that's what you call it).

I think it really depend on the user Icraig, choose where you are more comfortable, you might have a branded and expensive pair of shoes but then you might not feel comfy using it.

Wow icraig, we almost have the same user name. Anyway, back to the topic.
As for me, I'm also using a New Balance Running shoe. I like it because it does not cost that much and I feel comfortable wearing especially when I'm doing some Nordic Walking.

You can try Rockport XCS-Waterproof shoes, they are ideal for trekking and running, you don't have to worry when your running with wet & slippery road. Believe me because I own a pair of them.

Choose a shoes which you are more comfortable with, regardless of the brand name. Wearing shoes that doesn't fit you right will only cause intolerable pain in the thighs and shins or worst, injuries may happen.

I use Sketchers Shape Ups. They provide great support and the rounded heel is perfect for Nordic walking.
